SeaWorld Should End Now!

 Hey everyone! Today I am going to talk(type?) about SeaWorld. No one should have the right to imprison orcas, dolphins, and other aquatic animals in tiny cages. Below are all of the reasons why you can't do this.


The Tanks Are Miniscule!

The largest tank at SeaWorld Orlando is 40 feet deep. Sounds great...Until you remember that that is the LENGTH OF THE ORCA!!! You shouldn't keep a goldfish in a tank 2 inches deep, so why would you do the equivalent for an orca? Also, there are some really 'wonderful'*cough, nope, cough* size comparisons to the tanks. Ok, look at this photo.



The parking lots are bigger than the orca tank! Really, SeaWorld? Really? Credit to PETA for the photo-and all others that come after.

One city block is twice the length of one orca tank. ONE! And it's the LARGEST one!! The distance that toddlers walk in a day is about 2.6 miles. That dwarfs the tanks, being 13, 558 feet farther than a tank.

A Polar Bear May Have Died Because They Just Don't Care!

These poor polar bears, forced to live in a confined space, were best friends, and the only two in the cage. Szenja and Snowflake. Well, SeaWorld decided to move Snowflake to the Pittsburgh Zoo, to breed with a male polar bear. They wanted a baby to display. Szenja, on the other hand, was not happy with that decision. Less than 2 months after Snowflake was moved, Szenja died. PETA believes that it was of a broken heart.

Orcas Hurt Themselves Trying to Get Out

Many orcas at SeaWorld have tooth damage. All of them, in fact. It's from chewing on the bars and the concrete, attempting to get out.

Look at the poor thing! Why is this not morally an issue for them? Hang on, scratch that, it's not a problem because a lot of them don't have morals! 

Last Horrible Stuff That Doesn't Fit In the Other Categories


Excuse me? You are standing on a dolphin's face!! What on earth makes you think that that is ok? They also use the orcas like surfboards, so.....Clearly they have some issues. Also, they apply black zinc oxide to the orcas' skin so the visitors don't see their sunburns. I hope all of this convinced you that this abusement park needs to shut down immediately. All the orcas, dolphins, and other aquatic mammals need to be freed to seaside sanctuaries where they can swim and have a life!

    And SeaWorld is attempting to go to Abu Dhabi-The park will be done in 2022. Hello international readers....Welcome to why sometimes people are jerks!

    FYI, in the US, they have agreed to only use their "Orca Encounter" show, but it is the same thing for the orcas. Look it up on PETA, they have footage.

Dogfighting

 Dogfighting is a brutal activity. It is most often practiced with pitbulls, and pitbulls have a bad rap, so I'll start off with debunking most of it. "Pit bulls are the most abused, neglected, abandoned, tortured dogs in the world. Yet they forgive." -Tia, a dog rescuer in New Orleans.  They are sweet dogs, unless trained to be otherwise. Pit bulls are some of the sweetest dogs you could own. Sure, they can be huge, and slobbery, but they're just full of love.  Dogfighting: Dogfighting is a "sport" in which two dogs are trained to fight, and are put in a ring to fight each other for human "enjoyment". I am not sure how one enjoys this. During training, timid dogs are often used as bait. Like a poor dog named Cadence. She's a pit bull, and when she was rescued, she snuggled up to her rescuers and gave them puppy hugs. See what I mean about them forgiving us?
