Australia
Australia: A Continental Country
Kangaroo:
Kangaroos are mammals with uncanny kickboxing skills. They have a special way they stand on their tail so they can kick with both feet. They try to go for the belly, so consequently, red kangaroos developed a layer of padding there. The Australian Outback is super hot, so kangaroos dig into the cooler soil. They also lick their forearms to cool down. Female red kangaroos are bluish-gray, and babies, called joeys, are gray.
Dingo:
Dingos are wild dogs that hunt in the Outback. They are orange-peach, and hunt in packs. Oddly enough, there are some dingos in Indonesia and other areas near there. Dingos prey on kangaroos. Kangaroos deal with that by putting their joeys in a pouch and running. The head male will fight the dingo, and attempt to drown it if they are near any water, which they will be if there is water to be found.
Wallaby:
A wallaby is pretty much a smaller version of a kangaroo. Wallabies have proportionally longer legs and ears, but there aren't that many differences.
Koala:
Ah, the adorable koala. They are not bears, they are marsupials. They eat eucalyptus, which does not have a whole lot of energy in it, so, kind of like a panda, they have to eat and sleep all day to have enough energy to find more eucalyptus.
Crocodile:
Crocodiles are reptiles, which means they are endothermic(cold-blooded). Crocodiles typically live in saltier water, and alligators live in fresher water. The differences between an alligator and a crocodile are....
1. Crocodiles are green-brown/Alligators are blue-gray
2. Crocodiles have a pointy snout/Alligators have a rounded snout
3. If you look at a crocodile with it's mouth closed, you will be able to see it's bottom teeth. This is not true for the alligator. The bottom teeth of an alligator are hidden when their mouth is closed.
The answer to the previous question.......
Most commonly known are ring-tailed lemurs, but all other types of lemur would be accepted.
This post's question is,"Where is the only place in the world alligators and crocodiles can live somewhat together?"
Interesting to know about the kangaroo's ability to drown a dingo.
